Colton Seale

As Chief Executive Officer, Colton leads Somoetic’s strategic direction, training architecture, and methodological standards, ensuring that every offering reflects the highest levels of scientific rigor, operational relevance, and real-world applicability. He oversees the development of Somoetic’s core interview and intelligence frameworks while working closely with clients to translate research-driven methods into practical capability at scale.

Colton led the development of the Interview & Interrogation (I&I) training for the High-Value Detainee Interrogation Group (HIG), breaking the mold for interviewing training and bringing science into the art of interviewing. Done in conjunction with the U.S. Intelligence Community, this methodology transfers perfectly into cutting-edge training and fact-finding systems for any organization. Colton has trained tens of thousands of members of the U.S. Intelligence Community, foreign counterparts, and the private sector.
 
Through his 22-year career as an FBI Special Agent, Colton conducted thousands of interviews and led specialty teams in high-pressure, high-stakes settings domestically and internationally, including in the Middle East, South Asia, and Africa. Colton brings a wealth of knowledge and experience relating to counterterrorism, counterintelligence, criminal matters, and the business world to every group he works with.
 
Colton began his career as an analyst in the private sector before becoming a special agent and is passionate about interviewing and analysis and about using the most recent science to work with your teams to excel at their craft. Colton is a certified coach and brings a coaching ethos to working with your teams to fulfill their best potential. Colton has an M.A. in Public Policy from the University of Chicago and B.A. from University of California, Davis (Political Science and Philosophy).

Tony Paixão

As Co-Founder and Chief Innovation & Strategy Officer, Tony helps guide Somoetic’s strategic direction, leads client and strategic partnerships, and contributes to the ongoing evolution of the company’s training curriculum to ensure it remains research-informed, innovative, and operationally relevant.

Tony’s professional background spans law enforcement, corporate investigations, and investigative interviewing training and consulting. He has held senior roles in enterprise loss prevention and corporate investigations and has directed complex, multi-jurisdictional cases involving serious criminal and organizational risk matters, ranging from homicide to multi-million dollar fraud investigations.

He has trained thousands of professionals worldwide in investigative interviewing and human intelligence collection and has developed and delivered training for Fortune 500 companies and a wide range of public-sector agencies at the federal, state, and local levels.

Tony has maintained a long-standing commitment to transitioning investigative interviewing curricula away from tradition and pseudoscience and toward science-based, psychologically informed practices. While Tony served as the Executive Director of the International Association of Interviewers, he advocated for, assembled the multidisciplinary expert team, and directed the complete redevelopment of the Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI) certification, updating legacy material with scientifically supported frameworks grounded in psychology and behavioral science.

In parallel with his work at Somoetic, Tony collaborates with the Verensics leadership team on the integration of behavioral science into investigative technology, advising on the application of psychological research to systems used for structured human intelligence collection and organizational risk assessment.

Tony earned his bachelor’s degree in justice studies from James Madison University, followed by a Master of Science in forensic psychology from Arizona State University. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology, with training focused on assessment, intervention, and forensic evaluation. 

Chris Wilson, PsyD

In his role as Chief Behavioral Science Officer, Dr. Wilson oversees the integration and application of psychological science across Somoetic’s offerings. He works to ensure that current theories of trauma, memory, stress, and human behavior are reflected accurately and responsibly in training, consulting, and field use.

Dr. Chris Wilson is a licensed psychologist from Portland, Oregon. For eighteen years he worked with victims and perpetrators of crime, including for seven years with the Oregon Department of Corrections, and performed psychological evaluations. He currently trains nationally and internationally on a variety of issues including the neurobiology of trauma, vicarious trauma, and being trauma informed, and testifies as an expert in both civil and criminal trials.

He’s provided training, plenary, keynote, and breakout sessions for conferences and organizations across the United States, Canada, Italy, and Denmark, including the National District Attorney’s Association, US Department of Justice, the US Department of the Interior, the US Navy, Marine Corps, Army, and Air Force, the US Office for Victims of Crime, End Violence Against Women International, the National Organization for Victim Assistance, the National Crime Victim Law Institute, and the New York Police Department.

Dr. Wilson is a guest faculty member at the US Army’s Special Victim Capabilities Course where he teaches military criminal investigators about the neurobiology of trauma. He recently served as a curriculum consultant for The National Center for Campus Public Safety. He is also the co-author of the article “Understanding The Neurobiology of Trauma and Implications for Interviewing” (an abbreviated version of which was provided for Danish law enforcement in 2017) and “Judges’ and Juries’ Common Misperceptions About Domestic Violence Victims’ Behaviors.”

Dr. Wilson received his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Pacific University in 2002. He has been licensed as a psychologist in the state of Oregon since 2005 (taking a short retirement from 2021-2025). For six years served on the Board of the Oregon Psychological Association. Raised in Andover, Massachusetts, he is a lifelong Boston Red Sox fan and in his spare time enjoys playing the guitar, rooting for his now hometown Portland Timbers, and playing “old man soccer” on weekends.

Jeremy Noble, Phd, ABPP

Jeremy Noble is a licensed psychologist and board-certified specialist in Organizational and Business Consulting Psychology. He earned his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2014 and began his career in the U.S. Army shortly thereafter.

His initial assignment was in a clinical role, providing psychological services to soldiers and consulting with their commanders on matters of behavioral health and readiness. In 2016, he was selected to serve as the Command Psychologist for the 75th Ranger Regiment. In that capacity, he led initiatives in personnel selection, executive coaching, leadership development, organizational interventions, team optimization, and psychological treatment for members of the Regiment. He earned board certification through the American Board of Professional Psychology in 2021.

Following his military service, Jeremy founded Noble Organizational Consulting, where he now works with senior leaders and high-performing teams across both public and private sectors. His consulting work focuses on leader assessment and development, executive coaching, team effectiveness, and custom training seminars.

In addition to his private practice, Jeremy continues to serve as an independent contractor for the government supporting a variety of assessment and selection programs across the Department of Defense.


Kevin Burke, PsyD

Kevin has over a decade of experience as a lead Behavioral Science Consultant with the Department of Defense and Special Operations Command. He has also worked with members of the US Department of Justice, local law enforcement agencies, and public safety departments, focusing on a performance-driven, research-based model that assists individuals and organizations in reaching their maximum potential. As a thought partner, Kevin emphasizes maximizing personal growth and performance through thoughtful planning and strategic recovery. Over the course of his career, Kevin has coached and consulted key-leaders within US Defense and Law Enforcement agencies, developed impactful programs, and conducted outcome research with some of our nation’s most trusted organizations.  

Kevin earned his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Midwestern University and is actively pursuing a certification in Executive Coaching. Kevin’s research experience is in the areas of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Disaster Psychology Response and Mindfulness. His professional accomplishments include the 2023 Marine Raider Training Center Civilian of the Year and the 2024 United States Navy Civilian Psychologist of the Year. 

Kevin is married to a fellow (and much better) Psychologist and is a father to a wonderful son.
